The Talk Ban Stop campaign
Talk Ban Stop is a new campaign bringing together a group of organisations to provide support for those seeking to stop gambling.
Is your gambling negatively affecting you and those closest to you?
Talk: By speaking to one of GamCare’s trained advisers on the National Gambling Helpline (0808 80 20 133 – 24 hours a day or via live chat), gamblers and their loved ones can access expert information, advice and support. Gamcare can also arrange access to peer-to-peer support or an NHS referral if that is what you need.
Ban: Gamban’s software blocks access to thousands of global gambling sites and apps. It can be installed on up to 15 devices – including those in the household. This would usually cost £24.99 per year, but is now free for anyone contacting the Helpline or GamCare support services.
Stop: GAMSTOP’s self-exclusion prevents you from accessing current gambling accounts or creating new ones with all the online gambling operators across the UK, free of charge. You will also stop receiving marketing messages from gambling businesses.

Referrals to GamCare support
If we identify that a member may be at risk of gambling-related harms we refer them to GamCare and ‘Talk Ban Stop’ support services. Because, as a credit union, our members’ wellbeing is our first priority.
